‘Nilgiri,’ or Blue Mountains, gets its name from the bluish flowers of the ‘Kurinji’ shrubs. The Nilgiri Mountains, at their highest point, reach over 2,590 meters. The best Nilgiri tea is characterized by a small leaf appearance and a pronounced lemony and fruity flavor. This unique selection resembles some teas from the UVA tea district of Sri Lanka.
